Pachamama Pathways

Plant Medicine Retreats

Find Your Path

Pachamama Pathways organises regular plant medicine retreats in Spain.

Our retreats and ceremonies are led by authentic and experienced Huni Kuin shamans.

Guided by Nature

Pachamama Pathways is a small but growing community dedicated to helping others to find their true path. Our intention is to connect fellow travellers with plant medicine retreats in carefully selected centres in Spain, with the majority of the money collected by the community going towards the promotion and spread of Huni Kuin culture.

Earth’s Wisdom

Our retreats provide a comfortable, safe, welcoming space for you to rest and prepare for your journey. A place where you can fully relax and focus on your intention.

Heal

Our retreats are led by Huni Kuin shamans, who are embodied with generations of healing knowledge. We honour their traditions and ensure they are compensated fairly and respectfully for their work.

Grow

Our community is always here to help you, before, during, and after your stay. We are small in number, but we are growing. We would love for you to come and join us.

Communal Experiences

I’ve had the privilege of knowing Don Edgar for over 10 years. Whilst on holiday in Málaga, we took a day trip to Órgiva, and I have been in love with the people and this magical, mystical place ever since.

My first introduction to plant medicine ceremonies and San Pedro, was April, 2024. And I can truly say that my life has changed dramatically since then.

The love and oneness I experienced for me was truly the essence of what we would call God, creator, mother. After experiencing such profound love, forgiveness, and acceptance of myself, I came to a true and deep appreciation for every day I have here. Life now has a whole new meaning and oneness about it, and I feel it’s my duty to bring this love and knowing to others.

The facilitators at the ceremonies are the most beautiful, caring, loving people, who offer their knowledge, insight and service, from all walks of life and nationalities, you feel you have known these people all your life. This is family not a retreat!

Eternal love and respect.

This retreat was honestly one of the most amazing experiences I’ve ever had. The space felt like a true sanctuary, peaceful, nurturing, and so beautifully connected to nature. Everything was so thoughtfully put together, from the delicious vegetarian meals to the sacred ceremonies that guided me on a journey of self-discovery.

I am deeply grateful to the Huni Tribe for holding space with such authenticity and care. Their presence made it feel safe to explore parts of myself I didn’t even know were there. Through the ceremonies, group circles, and quiet moments, I felt myself stepping into a more real, more honest version of me.

It was a journey of transformation, one that asked me to be present, intentional, and brave. I chose love over fear, and in doing so, started creating a new reality that feels more aligned with who I am.

What really stood out for me was the sense of connection. We shared openly, supported each other, and created a space where everyone felt seen and heard. I left feeling deeply connected, not just to myself, but to a community that supported me through it all.

I’m already counting down the days until I return next year.

I have tried several times to write this testimony. After such a life-changing transformation of self and thought, it’s very difficult to know where to start.

The retreat, its surroundings, the shamans, helpers, and friends are as close to being in paradise as one can get. From the moment we arrived, there was a sense of belonging and a family connection I had never experienced. They are now my family and friends for eternity.

These incredible people are the bridge to self-awareness. The teachings, songs, and deep connection to the Earth and universe that we were shown by the Queen of the Huini Kuin tribe of the Amazon and Don Edgar brought a feeling of complete surrender and love I had never experienced. It is so profound that I struggle to interpret it into words.

I have been back to the retreat in Andalusia around six times now. On one occasion, I took a dear friend of mine who had been struggling with alcohol addiction for several years. The change in him now is absolutely incredible; he hasn’t had any alcohol since the ceremony almost a year ago. He also went back with his daughter, who had the most incredible ceremony as well.

We have been truly blessed to have been given this wonderful opportunity. I highly recommend to anyone who is on their journey of self-awareness that this is a great place to visit along your path.

Haux Haux!

I have been an addict to a few substances in my time and lived a life of self-harm—cigarettes, drink, drugs. I certainly had that addictive outlook when I went to the mountain.

Once I got there, I was blown away by the venue, the ceremonies, and the love displayed toward me by what were once strangers. The cleansing and medicines followed, and so began my spiritual journey.

The oneness of the sacred medicines shone through and made me very aware of being more than the sum of my parts. I’d been an atheist up until this point, with little or no belief in anything particular.

Don Edgar held space for me for the medicine to take effect, and I proceeded to connect with what can only be described as the Divine. I’m 47 at this point, and had held my emotions inside forever, clinging to my inner child’s pain… until this moment.

Crying like I’d never cried before, I was enveloped by a divine love that swept over me. Don Edgar held me—literally—and we cried together. A lifetime of tears rolled into a divine knowing of something else.

By the time I left, I had gained a family and experienced one of the most profound moments of my life.

My journey continues.
